Chiropractic Massage Therapy

Cupping Therapy

This therapy employs negative pressure, rather that tissue compression.  This therapy releases rigid soft tissue, drains excess fluids and toxins, loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissue, and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles.

Facial Cupping

Face cupping is inexpensive, non-invasive, and serves as a safe alternative to surgery or chemical treatments. Facial cupping uses small, specially designed suction cups to lift and massage facial tissue. It is actually not a new therapy, women in Asia, Russia and Europe have been using negative pressure facial cupping for rejuvenation and maintenance for generations. Facial cupping increases oxygen-rich blood circulation, strengthen skin & connective tissues and stimulates fibroblast cells responsible for collagen and elasticity production. Results include visibly reducing fine lines and deeper wrinkles, tone chin, jawline, neck & decolletage, reduce scars, excess oil & pore size, and relaxes facial muscle tension & tightness.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a very effective deep tissue, hands-on technique that works to address pain or discomfort coming from muscles and connective tissue.  Myofascial therapy is used to 'release' and rebalance the muscle and connective soft tissue system.

Reflexology

Based on a system of different zones and reflex areas on your feet and hands that correspond to different organs and zones of the body. Applying pressure to the feet or hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques to improve one’s health, improve circulation, and relieve tension.

Accupressure

Traditional Chinese medical theory describes special acupoints, or acupressure points, that lie along meridians, or channels, in your body. These are the same energy meridians and acupoints as those targeted with acupuncture. It is believed that through these invisible channels flows vital energy -- or a life force called qi (ch'i). It is also believed that these 12 major meridians connect specific organs or networks of organs, organizing a system of communication throughout your body. The meridians begin at your fingertips, connect to your brain, and then connect to an organ associated with a certain meridian.

According to this theory, when one of these meridians is blocked or out of balance, illness can occur. Acupressure and acupuncture are among the types of TCM that are thought to help restore balance.

Bamboo Sticks

The massage ensures circulation, sensory nerve perception and provides a deep sense of relaxation and serenity. Stimulation of the tissue by the bamboo stick helps in getting relief by dissipating the heat that results from an accumulation of toxins and poor circulation.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.

Energy Work

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a “life force”, and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
